Coaches will select their teams and practices can start the following week (working around volleyball until the season end in October) Games will begin late November or early December.

If you play for Networks 3rd-7th you will play home games at Networks. Away games will be against other Marshall county schools, Fort Payne, Scottsboro, etc. We try not to schedule farther than 45-60 minutes away.

At Networks, our number one goal (basketball speaking) is to provide players with the best opportunity to grow skills and knowledge that will help them eventually make the school basketball team. With as many as 50 kids sometimes trying out for a 12-13 school roster team in 7th grade, players need every advantage they can get. Playing travel basketball will help provide an invaluable opportunity plus it help builds team chemistry which is huge in school sports. EVALUATIONS - TBD

Networks K-2nd league is a 4 vs 4 game. This concept spreads the court cutting down on clutter which helps players learn the game better. We use a box zone defense to teach zone defense and as most do, we allow coaches to come on the floor as needed. Our Number one goal with this league is to teach as much basketball as we can. We do keep score and typically end the season with a tournament. This league is available for any and all players from any city. There are no tryouts for this league but there are evaluations so we can gauge each player and divide our teams evenly. Our teams are divided by the owners of Networks and the goal is to make each team competitive. This league has been in place for several years and we have had great success. CLICK HERE to signup
